About Us

At Okanagan Pet Resort we recognize how important it is that your pet is well taken care of while you are away. To that end, we will do everything we can to make their stay safe, comfortable and truly a "home away from home."

Okanagan Pet Resort is owned and operated by Elsen den Boer. Elsen is an accomplished trainer and competitor in the canine and equine world. Having grown up on a farm, being surrounded and caring for all kinds of animals, Elsen brings a lifetime of experience in the proper way to care for your pet.
Elsen has a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Bachelor of Education Degree. She is also a Certified Master Dog Trainer, including kennel management and obedience training. To deal with any emergencies, Elsen is certified in pet first aid.

Elsen's dad Leo is the voice that greets you on the phone and takes the dog guests out for their daily walks.
Jillaroo the Australian Cattle Dog, who is the resident licker and ball chaser.


Maisie the Ragdoll, who is the resident princess.
